Apple iMac 27-inch 2.9GHz i5 with 16GB RAM, 1TB HDD, Logic Pro X and creative software

So, I’ve been using this iMac for years — it’s basically my go-to machine for music, video, and design work — and I’m finally parting with it. It’s a 27-inch Apple iMac from 2022, quad-core i5 processor, 2.9GHz, 16GB RAM, and 1TB HDD. Got the Nvidia GTX 680 graphics card too, which helps when I’m doing heavy rendering or editing.

It’s running the latest version of macOS Big Sur (11.6.8), and I’ve got all the top creative apps set up: Logic Pro X, Reason, Waves, FabFilter, Izotope (Massive, Nectar, Iris), Native Instruments (Absynth, FM8, Komplete Kontrol, Maschine, Reaktor, and more), Cubase, Sibelius, MainStage, Melodyne, and even Ableton 9 and Omnisphere. I’ve also got the full Adobe suite — Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Cinema 4D, Photoshop, Premiere Pro — and tools like Capture One Pro, Aperture, Affinity Photo, and iPhoto.

For office stuff, it’s got the full Microsoft Office suite — Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook — plus things like iWork and Toast. I’ve also got a few niche tools like Virtual DJ, Rob Papen’s Blade & Predator, and some plugin collections (Valhalla, Plugin Alliance, Brainworx).

I tested every single component — everything from the screen to the ports — and it passed Apple’s official hardware standards. The machine is clean, well-maintained, and still runs like a dream.

I’m not selling it for the flashy price — it’s £315 — but I’ve been using it for years and it’s time to move on. I’m based in Bagshot, Surrey Heath, so if you’re local, I’m happy to meet up or arrange a collection.

I’ve had this setup for years, and I’ve worked with Apple hardware for over 12 years — I’ve fixed, repaired, and sold Macs through Gumtree for nearly as long. I also do trade-ins and exchanges, so if you’ve got something to swap, I’m open to it.
