2008 Mitsubishi Colt 1.5 DI-D 5 Door Hatchback Diesel Automatic
Description
So, I’ve had this 2008 Mitsubishi Colt for over 12 years now — same couple, same car, same place, same trust. It’s been a solid little workhorse through the years, and honestly, it’s still running better than most people would expect for its age.The AC was acting up for a bit, but I had it re-gassed last month and it’s now fully working again — no more hot days with the windows down. Just got a new MOT done on the 19th of August 2025, so it’s all up to date.
It’s a diesel, automatic, 5-door hatchback — very economical, I’ve seen it hit 70 mpg on the highway at times. The engine is a 3-cylinder turbo from a Mercedes-Benz, which is a bit of a surprise given it’s a Mitsubishi, but the build quality is top-notch. Japanese engineering, solid mechanics, just feels reliable.
It’s got remote central locking, alarm, and safety belt pretensioners — all good and working. Two remote keys included, plus a brand-new main battery — I replaced that a few months ago when the original started to struggle.
I’m not selling it to a dealership — I’m just getting rid of it because I’ve moved to Coleford, Forest of Dean, and I don’t need it anymore. It’s been my daily driver for years, so I’m happy to part with it.
It’s low mileage for the year, and I’ve had it checked out properly — HPI clear, no major issues. If you’re interested, I’m open to part exchange, and I’ll even give you a year’s Platinum Warranty cover — though I can’t share the details right now.
No fancy marketing, no fluff — just a real, honest car I’ve used every day. If you’re looking for something practical, reliable, and not too flashy, this might just be your kind of thing.
Got a few questions? Just give me a ring — I’m happy to talk through it.
I’m based in Coleford, Forest of Dean now, so if you’re nearby, no problem.
Let me know if you’re interested — I’d be happy to chat!
