Got this car back in 2015, and it’s been sitting quietly in Topsham, Exeter ever since. It’s a solid 2008 Vauxhall Astra 1.9 CDTi SXi hatch – diesel, five doors, manual gearbox – and I’ve only ever driven it on the odd trip, mostly for the occasional weekend runs. The engine’s been fine, lights are working, and it drives smoothly.

It’s a trader’s car – no warranty, no history of regular use, just a quiet, dependable machine. Last owner was a local trader who used it for work, and it’s been well maintained over the years. Still has the original alloy wheels (17-inch), air conditioning, power windows, driver and passenger airbags, side airbags, ABS, traction control, and all the basics.

I’ve kept it clean and in good shape, though it’s not been driven much. The steering column is adjustable, there’s ISOFIX for rear seats, and it even has a spare wheel. I’m not selling it for daily use – more of a long-term storage or occasional use project.
