I'm letting out a double en-suite room on the second floor of a terrace house in church-crookham, Fleet. The place is fully furnished and set up for real life — not just a shell. It’s a solid, practical home with five bedrooms, all of which have their own shower and WC. There’s also a sixth shower/WC for guests, which is handy if you’re hosting.

The room has a double bed with four storage drawers, a 3-door wardrobe with mirror, a bedside cabinet, a glass-top desk, chair, TV, and wi-fi (internet is a shared cost, not included in the rent). The kitchen and living area have all the basics: a combo microwave (with extra oven/grill), 8kg drier, washing machine, dishwasher, kettle, toaster, and a Freeview TV with seating. Central heating is gas-fired (Airtricity GFCH), and the house has double glazing — so it’s quite warm and quiet.

It’s just a minute’s walk from the main road, where you’ll find street parking and bus stop no.8. The area’s got a good mix of shops, local cafés, pubs, and green spaces — close to the Lagan Tow Path, Lagan Meadows, and a few fitness spots. It’s about 2 miles from the city centre (roughly 25-minute walk or £8 taxi).

Electricity and gas bills are covered — though I should note they might change with a notice. Strictly no smoking on the property. Current tenants are four guys — all professionals and one Masters student — ages 22 to 40. The room is available in three months.

It’s not flashy, but it’s lived-in, well-maintained, and actually comfortable. I’ve been using it for a while and know how it works. If you’re looking for something real and practical, this might be it.

P.S. Price is £9 — but I won’t say it in the title, just in case it feels like a number.
