2016 BMW 6 Series 640D SE Auto – Front Damage, Starts and Drives, Repairable
Description
Hey there – I’ve got this 2016 BMW 6 Series 640D SE auto here, 66 reg, with a bit of front-end damage. It starts up and runs fine, which is good news if you’re just looking to get a look at the car or maybe work on it yourself. It’s been through an insurance claim, so it’s a salvage vehicle – not a full rebuild, but it’s repairable. I’ve got a few photos and a quick rundown, but honestly, the best thing you can do is come see it in person. I’d really recommend bringing someone with mechanical experience to check it out – you never know what’s under the skin.
The car’s been stored at our place in Churchdown, Tewkesbury, so if you’re local or planning to travel, just give me a call. I’m Shaun – you can reach me on [Phone number removed] or [Phone number removed], and I’ll be in the office at 0115 9300505 between 9am and 4pm.
We don’t give any warranties on these – it’s a salvage vehicle, sold as seen. All the info I’ve got online might not be 100% accurate, so don’t rely on it. HPI checks are always worth doing, especially since some of these vehicles might show clear at one point but end up being recorded later.
If you’re thinking about buying it, make sure you’ve got a proper inspection done. It’s not safe to drive on the road until it’s fully repaired and meets all legal standards. A MOT won’t mean it’s fit to drive – it might have been damaged after the test.
I accept all major debit cards, bank transfers, and cash – just need ID and proof of funds. If you pay cash, there’s a 2% handling fee, so I’d suggest bank transfer if you can.
Deposits are non-refundable, and if you don’t pick it up by the agreed date, we’re free to sell it to someone else.
I’m not selling it as a "ready-to-drive" car – it’s more of a project or a chance to get into a solid BMW chassis with some work ahead. If you’re up for that, I’d love to chat.
Let me know if you want to see it – I’m happy to help with any questions.
P.S. The price is £5,805 – but I’m not putting that in the title, just in case you’re wondering.
