🧺 Zanussi Washing Machine – Still Works, 4.5kg, Mechanical Controls

I’ve got this old Zanussi washing machine sitting in my garage in Dornoch, Highland — it’s about 20 years old but has been well looked after and still runs fine. No screen, just old-school dials and push buttons. It’s a 4.5kg machine, perfect for small households or someone who just wants a backup unit.

It’s got standard wash settings from 1 to 9 and A to G, with temperature options from cold all the way up to 95°C. Spin speed is 1200 RPM — not fancy, but it actually works. I’ve used it a few times over the years, and it’s been reliable.

The original plug was buried and I’ve had to cut it out. I’ll be fitting a standard 13-amp plug before you collect it, but if you’re not comfortable with that, just let me know — I can help you sort it out.

I’ve upgraded to a Bosch now, so this one’s free to take home. It fits most standard kitchen units, so it’ll work in a variety of setups.
