Can-am Spyder 2017 1330cc

I’ve had this Can-Am Spyder since new and it’s been a real joy to ride — especially on long weekends or just getting out and about locally. It’s a 2017 model with the 1330cc Rotax 3-cylinder engine, and you don’t need a full motorcycle licence to ride it — just a car licence.

It’s been well looked after with regular service records, has full 12-month MOT, and I’ve just replaced the rear tyre with a new one — front tyres are solid too. The bike’s been ridden about 14,722 miles, and it’s still in great shape. Cruise control, semi-automatic 6-speed gearbox with reverse, belt drive — all the basics covered.

Some of the nice bits: heated grips for both rider and passenger, adjustable touring screen, suspension that lets you tweak it to your preference, and four lockable storage boxes — front, rear, and two side panniers. There’s even a little mini compartment for sunglasses or your phone. Radio’s working fine too, and I’ve kept the operator’s manual with it.

Road tax is around £220 a year, and I’ve only ever used it for local rides or longer trips — never pushed it hard. I’m not looking to sell it to someone just for a ride — only to someone who’s upgrading to a newer model.

Viewing is welcome, but no test rides beyond pillion. It’s a solid, reliable machine that’s been a real pleasure to have around. Based in Arlesey, Central Bedfordshire.
