I’m selling my 2017 Scirocco TDI GT – it’s one of those cars you just know you’d want to drive if you ever got the chance. It’s a diesel, so it’s got that punchy, smooth power, and it hits 62 in just under 9 seconds. Not flashy, but actually quite quick for a daily driver.

Inside, the car has that old-school VW feel – not too fancy, but the controls are easy to use. The Composition Media System lets you play music and take calls hands-free, which I’ve actually come to rely on. The lights auto-turn on at dusk, which is a nice little touch, and there are front and rear parking sensors – helps when parking in tight spaces, especially in Fairbourne.

The GT trim means it’s not just a coupe – it’s got proper comfort. Two-zone climate control, so I can keep my seat warm or cool while the passenger side does its own thing. I’ve never had a problem with the cabin staying at my preferred temp.

And yeah, the boot’s actually decently sized – big enough for a weekend trip or just a few bags. I’ve used it for everything from commuting to weekend hikes.

It’s been well-maintained, no major repairs, and I’ve kept it clean and driven fairly regularly. I’m not looking for a lot of fuss – just a good, reliable car that works for real life. It’s not a showpiece, but it does what it’s supposed to.
