Chesterfield Nursing Chair – Parliament Green Leather, 1989
Description
This old-school Chesterfield nursing chair, finished in traditional Parliament green leather, was made back in 1989 and’s been in my family ever since. I’ve been using it in my home office for years and it’s still super comfortable — just the way I like it.The leather’s in decent shape, with a bit of wear and some small blemishes on the back (no tears, just a few scuffs — I’ve included photos so you can see it). The wood is solid too, with a few marks from years of use, but nothing that affects the structure.
Dimensions are 67cm wide, 69cm deep, and 109cm tall — seat height is 47cm, so it’s not too high or too low for regular use.
I’ve had it professionally cleaned and treated, and the leather has been fed to keep it supple. I’m happy to give a bit of advice on how to care for it long-term, especially if you’re using it in a home or office setting.
It’s stored at my place in Kendal, Westmorland and Furness, and I can either have it collected or deliver it — I work with a reliable courier who’s insured and reasonably priced. If you’d like a quote for delivery, just let me know.
Price is £247.50 — it’s a solid piece with real character, and I’m happy to part with it since it’s not being used much anymore.
