2018 Hyundai Tucson Estate 1.6 GDi Blue Drive SE Nav Manual
Description
This 2018 Hyundai Tucson Estate is actually a solid, well-maintained family SUV I’ve had in my garage for a few months now — mostly just sitting there, getting some good use, not far from home in Rowlands-Gill, Gateshead. It’s got a 1.6-litre GDi engine with 132ps, manual transmission, and the full Blue Drive setup — so it’s not flashy, but it’s reliable and has been kept clean and well looked after. The interior is soft-touch, seats are comfortable, and the 8-inch touchscreen with navigation, traffic updates, and Tom Tom LIVE is actually quite handy. There’s also a reversing camera, lane departure warning, and ESP for safety — all good for everyday driving.
The alloy wheels are 17-inch, and it’s got all the usual extras: power windows, electric mirrors with heating, climate control, cruise control, and even a rear luggage net and roof rails. The front seats have lumbar support and the rear ones can fold down easily. There’s also a decent amount of storage — cup holders, glove box with cooling, console storage — and child seat anchors in the back.
I’ve had it checked over properly, and the tyres are in good shape with over 2.5mm tread. It’s been through a full safety inspection and has a clean HPI history. I didn’t need to go far to keep it — just kept it in Rowlands-Gill, so it’s easy to get to.
I’ve been meaning to get it out and drive it more, but I’ve been doing a bit of work and just haven’t had time. If you’re thinking of looking at a practical, reliable estate with good tech and safety features, this one’s worth a look. It’s been priced fairly — £11,070 — which I think is fair given the condition and features.
I’m not selling it to a dealership or anything — I’m just passing it on to someone who might actually use it every day. If you’re interested, I can show it around or even arrange a quick drive if you’re local.
