Prolimit Cruiser watersports harness and GoPro filming tower

Description

This is the weirdly clever DIY thing I made for windsurfing – basically a go-to mount that lets you get those over-the-shoulder shots without the camera dangling. The red tower in the photos holds the GoPro, and the joints are Araldite glued solid with a safety line tied to the harness. The seat harness works just fine without the camera tower too, if you don’t need the filming part. I’ve only used it on the water, mostly windsurfing, but I’m pretty sure it’d work for paddleboarding, kayaking, or kite surfing too. The guy who built this clearly had way more patience than I do – it’s actually quite smart. My wife and I are retiring from windsurfing after 40+ years, so I’ve got a few more of these things up for grabs. I’m only happy to take it off the shelf for collection – no postage, no hassle.
