Casio TV-1750 Vintage Portable LCD Colour TV
Description
I’ve been keeping this Casio TV-1750 around for a while — it’s one of those 90s retro gadgets that just feels like a piece of nostalgia. It’s in great shape, still fits in my drawer, and it actually turns on and shows up fine. The screen’s a small 2.5-inch LCD, and it’s got a neat compact design that made it easy to carry back then.It runs on 4 AA batteries (not included), and it’s got a UHF/VHF tuner — UK PAL I standard, so it’ll pick up old analog signals. That means you’ll need a digital converter box to watch modern channels, but it works perfectly for just watching old shows or displaying as a retro piece.
The original box is still there, and everything’s in working order. Buttons work, screen lights up, no issues at all. A bit of minor wear on the case, mostly just from use — nothing major.
I’m not using it anymore, so it’s going to loanhead, Midlothian. It’s not a daily device, more of a collector’s item or a fun reminder of what tech looked like back in the day. If you’re into retro electronics or just love the look of 90s gadgets, it might be a nice little addition.
Priced at £18 — just a small price for something that’s actually functional and still looks solid.
