2016 Land Rover Range Rover Sport SVR 5.0 V8
Description
I’m selling my 2016 Land Rover Range Rover Sport SVR – the one that’s been in my family for years and actually feels like a proper driver’s car. It’s not flashy, but it’s got that real presence you get when you see it parked in a driveway. It’s Ammonite Grey with Ebony Oxford leather interior – the kind of leather that looks expensive but doesn’t feel like it’s been used much. The contrast stitching is sharp, and the interior’s been kept clean and tidy over the years. I’ve driven it regularly, but it’s never been pushed hard – just kept well looked after.
Under the hood is that 5.0-litre supercharged V8, producing 542bhp – not a showy engine, but one that really delivers when you want it to. It’s paired with an 8-speed auto, and the paddle shift is smooth. The car has a full service history, with regular checks from Land Rover and a few independent specialists over the years. The last one was in December 2024, and it’s been well maintained.
It’s got a lot of features that make it feel modern – Meridian audio with 23 speakers and 1700W, digital TV, dual view touchscreen, heated seats, and all the driver aids you’d expect. The xenon headlights have LED signature, and there’s a sliding panoramic roof and carbon fibre vents on the bonnet and sides. I’ve never had to touch the tow bar – it’s electric and works perfectly.
I bought it new, and it’s been in my garage at Park Farm in Romney Marsh since then. It’s not a daily driver, but it’s been a great companion for long weekends, trips, and just being out in the countryside. I’ve kept it in great shape, and the paint still holds that deep, glossy finish. The wheels are clean, no dents, just the kind of wear you’d expect from a car that’s been driven but not abused.
It’s got 67,697 miles, and I’ve never seen a better example of this model that’s still running strong. The last service was done by a specialist, and everything was checked properly.
I’m not selling it because I need cash – I just want to move it on to someone who’ll appreciate it. The price is £26,973, which I know is a lot, but it’s been a real joy to own and maintain.
If you’re interested, I’m happy to arrange a view or just chat – no pressure, just a real car that’s lived a good life.
