Got this old Genesis Day One lying around in my shed in Newcastle-under-Lyme, Staffordshire — it’s been stored quietly, barely used since new. Reynolds steel frame and fork, Shimano Alfine 8-speed internal hub, Continental tyres, Avid disc brakes. It’s in great shape, mostly clean, just a few light scratches from being tucked away. No major wear, just the usual storage marks. It’s been a reliable workhorse for short trips and weekend adventures, even through the wet Scottish weather — definitely feels like a solid all-weather bike for a summer ride or daily commute. Only collecting, so no deliveries outside of Glasgow or Edinburgh. If you’re in that area and want a reliable, low-maintenance gravel rig, it’s worth a look.
