So I’ve been keeping this little Fiesta in Chipping-Campden, Cotswold District for a few years now — it’s actually been in three different hands before me, but still runs smooth and hasn’t been pushed too hard.

It’s a 2009 model, 1.25 litre Zetec, five doors, blue — that shade of blue you can’t quite pin down, kind of vibrant but not garish. Got 114k miles on it, which feels like a fair amount for a small car, but it’s been well looked after. Eight service records in total, last one done August 10, 2025 — so it’s been properly maintained.

Petrol, manual gearbox — I like the way it feels when you’re driving it, especially in the city. It’s not flashy, but it’s reliable and easy to park. AC works fine, alloy wheels too, and the safety belt pretensioners are still there (though I haven’t had a chance to test them in a crash, obviously).
