Contax G1 35mm Camera with 28, 45 & 90mm Lenses and TLA 140 Flash
Description
I’ve had this Contax G1 for a few years now and it’s been a real joy to use, especially when I’m out in the hills near pwllheli, Gwynedd. The body’s fully functional and shows only a bit of wear from years of use — nothing too bad, just the kind of things you’d expect from a camera that’s seen a lot of shooting. It comes with the full set of Carl Zeiss lenses: the 28mm Biogon, 45mm Planar, and 90mm Sonnar — all in good shape, no mould or damage. I’ve used them a few times with film, and everything works fine.
Also included: the TLA 140 flash with its leather case, a strap, mini foam case, lens hoods, and individual lens cases. I’ve tested it all recently — shutter, focus, film advance — all moving smoothly.
I’m moving to a new place and decided to part with it. It’s not perfect by any means, but it’s reliable and I’ve used it for a lot of quiet, thoughtful shots — mostly in the countryside. If you’ve ever wanted to get into film photography, this is a solid starting point.
Still in good hands, just not with me anymore.
