Got this old Ford Focus from 2009, 1.6 petrol, five-door hatchback – it’s been properly looked after. MOT runs until January 2026, and I’ve kept it on a regular service schedule. Two keys, new tyres all round, and it’s been a real workhorse for me over the years. The engine runs smoothly, it’s roomy enough for a family, and I’ve never had issues with fuel economy. Insurance is super cheap, which is a bonus. There’s a bit of age-related wear and some minor scuffs, but nothing major. I’ve driven it regularly and it’s still solid.
