Dawes Spire 1.0 Ebike

I’ve been riding this Dawes Spire 1.0 for just under a year, and it’s honestly been a game-changer for my commute and weekend trips. Less than 400 miles on it, so it’s still in great shape. The Bafang motor and 360Wh Samsung battery give me over 40 miles (64km) of range—no stress on hills or flat roads.

I’ve got a few light scratches on one side, but it’s not noticeable and the photos show it. The 8-speed Shimano Altus gears are smooth, and the hydraulic disc brakes (Shimano MT200) stop with confidence. The suspension fork handles bumps well, especially on uneven roads.

It’s got a full set of lights (front and rear), mudguards, a pannier rack for groceries or work stuff, and a kickstand. I’ve even got two keys, the charger, extra mirrors, and all the cables.

The frame is 6061 aluminium, with internal cable routing and a fully integrated, removable battery. The rear hub motor is 36V 250W with 32Nm torque—solid power without being too loud. The display on the handlebar is useful, showing speed, battery, trip data, and modes like walk assist.

I’ve kept it well-maintained, so it’s still running strong. It’s not perfect—just a bit worn in a few places—but it’s a solid, reliable bike. I’m looking for a reasonable offer, not a big one.
