So, I’ve got this 2007 Mercedes S550 W221 sitting in my garage — it’s one of those clean, well-kept classics I actually bought from Japan straight out of the box. Only 9,322 miles on the clock, and it’s been kept in perfect condition with all the Japanese service records and handbooks still in the glove box.

It’s finished in Metallic Iridium Silver, with that lovely semi-aniline leather interior — black and anthracite with wood-burned walnut trim. The cabin feels premium, and the 5460cc V8 engine runs smooth, no drama. I’ve had it imported through, registered with the DVLA, and all the UK taxes and duties are sorted — no hidden charges.

It’s got a full set of features: bi-xenon headlights, parking sensors, rear camera, cruise control, traction control, airbags all around, heated seats, power windows, climate control, and even a power sunroof. The original toolkit, spare wheel, warning triangle, and all the little extras are still in the boot.

The last service was done in Japan at 14,250 km — about 468 miles ago — so it’s been properly looked after. MOT runs until September 2025. It’s ULEZ-compliant, and I’ve got the full UK manual and service book with it.
