2022 Volkswagen Tiguan 2.0TDI R-Line DSG Estate
Description
This is my 2022 Tiguan – I’ve had it for a few years now and it’s been my go-to for all my trips around Fort Augustus, Highland. It’s a solid diesel with a good mix of features that really make daily driving comfortable. The car’s got the Oryx White Mother-of-Pearl paint, which I love – it’s clean and shows off the R-Line styling well. I’ve also got the panoramic sunroof, which is a real plus on sunny days, and a rear view camera that’s super handy when parking. The LED matrix headlights are sharp, and I use the keyless entry with electric tailgate all the time – it’s just easier than fiddling with a physical key.
Inside, the digital cockpit is a bit of a highlight – I’ve got the full active info display, lane assist, and driver alert system, which helps keep me focused on the road. There’s also a full suite of connectivity: Apple CarPlay and Android Auto via App-Connect, Bluetooth, and even the ability to send and read SMS messages directly from the touchscreen.
I’ve kept it well maintained, and it’s been used mostly for local trips and occasional weekend drives. The diesel particulate filter and misfuel prevention systems are both working fine, and I’ve never had any issues with the engine. The XDS differential and adaptive cruise control (including stop-and-go) help with the winding roads around the Highlands, especially when I’m driving through mountain passes.
It’s got a few extras: USB-C ports in the front, one in the back, heated rear window, privacy glass on the back, and even a trailer stability cruise control. The roof rails and body-coloured bumpers match the R-Line look, and the automatic headlight control and rain sensor make it feel smart without being fussy.
I’ve driven it a fair bit, but not much over 20,000 miles. The last service was done properly, and the battery regeneration during braking works smoothly. I’ve also kept it clean and maintained it regularly – it’s not flashy, but it’s reliable and handles well.
The car is in great shape, and I’m happy with how it’s turned out. It’s a bit of a long-term investment, and I’m looking to part with it because I’ve moved on to a different kind of vehicle.
If you’re interested, I’m happy to show it over – just give me a call. I’m based in Fort Augustus, Highland, and I’m always up for a chat.
P.S. It’s priced at £26,091 – not a huge sum for what it is, and it’s been well looked after. I’m not selling it just to get rid of it, I’m doing it because I’ve found something new that fits my needs better.
