So, I’ve been riding this Cannondale CAADAX Apex 1 for a few years now — it’s basically my go-to for mixed terrain, whether it’s a quick ride to the shops or a longer loop through the countryside. It’s a solid, smooth ride with no wobbles, and the SRAM groupset shifts like a dream. Full disc brakes, alloy rims, true wheels, and the bearings are buttery smooth. I’ve had it serviced properly, so it’s in great shape and feels like new even after all the miles.

I’m based in Ystrad-Meurig, Ceredigion, and it’s actually a bit of a journey to get to the nearest bike shop, so I’m parting with it. I’ve ridden it for over 3,000 miles and it’s still as responsive as day one. The only thing I’d say is that it’s best for riders over 5’9” — you’ll feel it in the handlebars and the fit.

I’ve kept it in original spec, no swaps, no cheap bits — just what it came with. I’ve got a warranty on it too, so if anything shows up, I’ll sort it out.
