I’ve had this Volvo XC90 for a couple of years now and honestly, it’s been one of the most comfortable and tech-packed cars I’ve ever driven. It’s a plug-in hybrid with both electric and petrol power, so you get a good range on electric alone, and it’s perfect for long trips or city driving.

The front seats have massage and ventilation — I’ve used it a lot for long drives, and it really makes a difference. There’s a 12.3-inch driver display, a 9-inch central screen, and Google Assistant, Maps, and Play Store included for four years — super handy. Apple CarPlay works too.

Inside, it’s got a grey ash interior with bright aluminium trim around the windows, and the headlining is a soft blond. The Bowers & Wilkins sound system is great — I’ve actually taken it on road trips and it’s been a real treat. The seats are comfy, especially the front ones with power lumbar and memory settings.

There’s also an air purifier and cabin pre-clean — I found that helpful when the weather’s grim.

The car has a lot of smart features: keyless entry, hands-free tailgate, heated mirrors, and a hidden storage spot. The rear seats are roomy, and there are ISOFIX points for kids’ seats. I’ve used the load cover and grocery bag holder a few times — super practical.

I’ve kept it well-maintained and it’s been through a few long journeys, but it still runs smoothly. The charging cable is included — I’ve used it at home and on a few weekend trips.
