I’ve had this cast iron fireplace surround for years — it’s a solid piece from the Victorian era, with a British Registered Design diamond mark dated 1881. The design was officially protected back then, which makes it a bit of a treasure. It’s not flashy, but it has real character and I’ve kept it in good shape. It’s currently in my home in Prenton, Wirral. I’m not looking to sell it fast — just happy to part with it if someone finds it useful or just wants to take it home.
