2011 BMW 3 Series 320i Sport Plus 2dr Convertible

I’ve had this 2011 BMW 3 Series 320i Sport Plus convertible for a few years now and it’s honestly been one of my favourite cars. It’s a solid, well-maintained 3 Series with only three owners and a clean history check — no surprises, just good care over the years.

The engine’s a 2.0L petrol unit, not flashy but smooth and responsive, and the Sport Plus trim gives it that sporty edge without being too aggressive. It’s got front and rear parking sensors, which I’ve found super useful in tight spaces — especially when parking in Writtle, Chelmsford. The mirrors auto-dim and fold electrically, so it’s easier to get in and out of when it’s sunny or rainy.

I also love the dual-zone climate control — you can set your own temperature, which is a small thing but makes a big difference when driving with someone who hates heat or cold. Bluetooth with voice control and USB audio works well too. And the ESP and safety belt pretensioners are all there, so it’s got a decent safety setup.

Insurance’s low, which makes it a pretty sensible car to keep around — not expensive to insure, and it’s been a reliable daily driver. I’m not selling it to make a quick buck, just because I’ve moved and it’s time to upgrade. It’s been well looked after, and I’m happy to part with it for £5,661 — not because I want to, but because it’s just not where I’m going to be using it anymore.

If you’ve ever driven a BMW and liked the balance between sportiness and practicality, this one’s a decent example. Just not for the super flashy or high-performance crowd — more for someone who values reliability and smart features.
