Description

So, I’ve been keeping this 2012 MINI Countryman for a few years now — it’s actually been my go-to car for everything from weekend trips to just getting around town. It’s a diesel, 2.0L, automatic, and has the All4 setup, which is great if you’re ever on a winding road or just want a bit more grip.

I’ve had it through seven services up to 68k, and it’s been regularly maintained. The spare key is still in the glovebox — handy if you’re ever letting someone else drive.

It’s got those 18-inch alloy wheels with the 5-star double spoke design — black, looks sharp, and actually helps with handling. The CHILI Pack is a nice touch — makes the interior feel more premium without going over the top.

I love the electrically folding mirrors — saves space when parking, especially in tight spots. And the heated front windscreen? A game-changer in the winter. The air conditioning works well too, keeps the cabin comfortable no matter what.

Fuel consumption is around 46.3mpg — not flashy, but it’s solid for a diesel SUV. I’ve never had a problem with the running costs.

Inside, it’s got a 3-seat rear bench, sports steering wheel with gearshift paddles, and the seats are split 40:20:40 — useful if you’re ever sharing it with kids or guests. The dashboard is clean, the trim is dark anthracite, and there’s a decent radio system with DAB and USB.

There’s also a bike rack prep at the back, roof rails, and a little bit of storage tucked in the panels. The headlights have follow-me-home and beam control, and the headlights themselves are chrome-bezelled.

It’s got all the safety bits — ABS, airbags (front, side, head), stability control, brake assist, and even hill assist. The parking sensors work too.

I’m selling it because I’m moving to Menstrie, Clackmannanshire, and I’m not looking to keep it around. I’ve used it a lot over the years, and it’s always been reliable.

It’s worth a bit — about £6,741 — but I’m not trying to push a number. If you’re someone who values practicality, a bit of style, and a car that doesn’t take itself too seriously, this one might just fit your life.

No pressure, no sales pitch — just a real car I’ve used and cared for. If you’re interested, I can send over the details or meet up for a quick drive.

Just let me know. I’m not in a rush, and I’m happy to chat.

(PS: I’ve had it checked recently and it’s all good — no major issues, just a bit of age on it. It’s not flashy, but it’s solid.)
