2020 Mercedes A250 AMG Line Premium E Hybrid – Front and Side Damage, Starts and Drives

Hey there – just putting this one out there because I’ve been thinking about it lately.

It’s a 2020 Mercedes A250 AMG Line Premium E Hybrid – 70 registration – and it’s been through a claim. Front and side damage, mostly. Still starts and drives, which is good to know if you’re just looking for something that works, not something perfect.

I’ve seen it in person and it’s been checked out, but I’d really recommend you go and take a look yourself. Not just because of the damage, but because every vehicle like this has been through an insurance claim – and while some might show up clear on HPI at the time, they’ll eventually get recorded. So don’t rely on any online specs. The numbers and details listed might not be 100% accurate, and I’ve seen that before.

The car’s been stored at a salvage yard in Sutton-on-Sea, East Lindsey. I don’t have a full MOT or anything, and it’s not safe to drive on public roads yet – it needs full repair and a proper MOT once it’s fixed. If it’s got a MOT, that doesn’t mean it’s safe to use. It could have been damaged after the test.

I’m not giving any guarantees – it’s a damaged vehicle, and I don’t know all the hidden issues. If you’re serious about buying it, I’d suggest bringing your own mechanic or engineer to check it out. No warranties, no second thoughts.
