Description

Got this old Volvo 850 Estate from 1994 — it’s a manual, not an R model, and only had one owner for 12 years. The turbo bit is original, and the factory sunroof works, though it’s a bit stuck now. I’ve got a bit of aftermarket wood on the steering wheel, which I like — gives it a bit of character. Tyres and battery are both quite new, and the car’s been kept well, no major rust apart from a small body hole on the front wing that’s easy to fix. Headlining’s dropped, and there’s a few broken plastic bits — not a lot, just small things. The handbrake cable needs replacing, but it’s something I’ve already got the parts for. It’s a solid driver, not flashy, just reliable. I’d actually break for it if I had to, but that’d be a shame — it’s been a decent keeper and I’m not selling it just to get cash. It’s not even close to 10k miles, and it’s still appreciated in value. Currently in Prudhoe, Northumberland. Price is £1,615.50 — not too bad for a classic Volvo with all the original bits intact.
