2021 Nissan Leaf 40kWh Electric Hatchback

I’ve had this 2021 Nissan Leaf for a few years now, and it’s been a real joy to drive — especially with all the tech and features packed in. It’s got a 40kWh battery, 110kW charging, and I’ve used it regularly for both city driving and longer trips.

The interior is comfy — leather and ultra suede, great for long drives. I love the Bose audio with 7 speakers, and it plays through Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The touchscreen is easy to use, and I’ve got voice control, remote audio, and even a USB port in the back.

Safety features are solid: blind spot warnings, lane departure alert, automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, and even a hill start assist. The car has a good range, and I’ve charged it at home and on the go — the onboard charger is 6.6kW and comes with a charging cable.

It’s got a lot of smart bits — like automatic headlights, rain-sensing wipers, and even a follow-me-home feature. The mirrors are electric, the seats are adjustable, and the rear seats fold down nicely. There’s also a heat pump and a decent cabin climate system.

I’ve kept it well-maintained and it’s been through a few good seasons of use. The only thing I’d say is that it’s not a daily driver for long commutes — more of a relaxed, practical car for weekend trips and city life.
