Description

So I got this DUUX Tag humidifier a few years ago and it’s been a lifesaver in my cottage in Lochgilphead. It’s white, looks pretty neat on the shelf, and I’ve actually used it quite a bit—especially during the damp winter months when the air just feels thick.

No box with it, which is a bit of a bummer, but it’s still super functional. It’s 26x19x31 cm, weighs about 1.5kg, and runs on 12w—quiet enough that you don’t even notice it’s on, especially at night. The noise is under 34dB, so it’s barely a whisper.

The water tank holds 2.5L, and there’s a little LED to tell you when it’s time to refill. I like that it has a mist output control—can go from a gentle mist to a stronger one, depending on what I’m after. It shuts itself off automatically when the tank’s empty, which is handy.

There’s also a little mood light at the bottom—can set it to different colours, which is kind of nice when you’re just sitting around. It covers up to 30m², so it’s good for a room or two. Max mist output is 250ml/h, and it’ll run for up to 10 hours on a full tank.

I’ve used it with essential oils too—works well for aromatherapy. And honestly, it uses way less power than older humidifiers, so it’s not a drain on the electricity.

I’ve kept it in good shape, no issues at all. Just moved it to Lochgilphead and thought I’d share it—£40.50 if you're interested. It’s not fancy, but it does what it’s supposed to, and I’ve actually gotten used to having it around.
