2022 Mercedes-Benz A-Class A200 AMG Line Executive Edition 5-door Auto
Description
So, I’ve got this 2022 Mercedes A200 AMG Line Executive Edition — it’s one of those cars that just feels like it was built for driving with a bit of flair, not just for looking good. It’s got a 10.25-inch touchscreen, a full 180-degree rear camera with parking lines, and all the smart bits — like active parking assist with visual and audio alerts, lane keeping, and attention assist. The dash has a 7-colour instrument panel, and there’s a digital display that’s super clean and easy to read.
I’ve used it quite a bit — cruise control, eco start/stop, speed-sensitive steering, and even the car wash mode. The car knows when you’re driving in a city or on a long stretch, thanks to the Dynamic Select system (you can switch between ECO, Comfort, Sport, and Custom modes).
There’s also a lot of safety stuff — brake pad wear warning, fluid level alerts for fuel, oil, coolant, and washer fluid, plus a hard drive navigation system and voice control (Hey Mercedes). It even knows when your lights are failing or if you’ve drifted into a lane.
The AMG styling is subtle but noticeable — chrome front apron, rear apron, and trim details on the tailpipes. All the body parts are in body colour, including the mirrors and door handles. The mirrors are electric and heated, with LEDs for visibility.
I’ve got Apple CarPlay and Android Auto set up, and the car can connect to my phone. There’s also Mercedes me Connect — emergency call, breakdown alerts, and maintenance reminders. I’ve used it a few times, and it’s actually pretty handy.
I didn’t buy it to show off — I just wanted something that feels smart, safe, and drives well. It’s been a solid daily driver, and I’m not going to use it for long-term rental, so I’m parting ways with it.
It’s been parked in Folkestone, Folkestone and Hythe District, and I’m selling it because I’ve found a different direction for my car collection.
Price is £19,143 — it’s a bit steep, but I’ve kept it in good condition and have only done a few hundred miles since I last serviced it.
If you’re interested, I’m happy to chat — no pressure, just a real car, real life, real details.
