Description

I’ve had this stand for years, mostly just sitting in the corner of my garage. It’s a solid piece from the Victorian or Edwardian era — not flashy, but sturdy and well-made. The wood’s a bit worn, but nothing’s rotted or damaged, and it’s still standing strong. The three hat and coat hooks on top have snapped off — I’ve checked them all, they’re still functional, though they’d be easy to fix if needed.

It’s massive — about 614mm wide, 262mm deep, and 1938mm tall (so roughly 24 x 10½ x 76¼ inches). The height means it’s not something you’d casually put on a shelf — it’s more of a statement piece.

I’ve lived in Coalville, North West Leicestershire, for a few years now, and I’ve been meaning to part with it for a while. It’s not much to look at, but it’s been part of my home’s history. I’m not sure how it ended up in the garage — probably just a bit of clutter from when I was younger.

It’s worth about £67.50, but I’m not selling it for that — just passing it along to someone who might actually find it useful. If you’re into vintage or old furniture, or just need something to hang coats and hats, it’s definitely worth a look.
