Gaming Desktop with GTX 1080TI and i7-8700K

I’ve had this desktop for a few years now, built it myself back in 2018, and it’s been a solid workhorse for gaming and editing. The setup’s pretty straightforward — GTX 1080TI ROG Strix Edition with 11GB of GDDR5X, paired with an Intel i7-8700K processor. I’ve kept it running smoothly through a 2TB HDD and a 512GB Samsung 970 PRO SSD for speed. RAM is 16GB DDR4 at 3200MHz, which feels just right for what I’ve been doing. Motherboard’s an ASUS Z370 Maximus X Hero, and I’ve got the Corsair H150i PRO liquid cooler — it’s quiet and keeps things cool even under load. The case is a Phanteks, which fits everything snugly and looks decent.

I’m moving to Marazion, Cornwall, and it’s just sitting in my old room, not being used much anymore. It’s in good shape, no major issues, and I’ve wiped all the data. I’ve actually been thinking about selling it because I’m switching to something newer, but it’s still got a lot of life left. It’s not perfect — a bit of dust, one fan blade is slightly bent — but it runs fine and has handled everything from 1080p gaming to light video editing.
