2015 Ford Transit Connect 240 Limited LWB Day Van

So this van has been in my family for a while now – actually, I bought it a few years back and it’s been through a fair bit of use and care. It’s a 2015 Transit Connect 240 Limited long wheelbase day van, painted frozen white, and the body’s been kept pretty clean with no major dents or rust. I’ve kept it well maintained over the years, and there’s a solid service record – including a documented engine swap at 110k miles. The engine was replaced with a Grade A unit that only had 50k miles on it, and the clutch was swapped at the same time. All that stuff was done properly, and it’s been running smooth ever since.

Inside it’s been upgraded quite a bit – half-leather seats, twin zone climate control (so I can have one side cold and the other warm), ice-cold AC, CD player with DAB, aux, USB, and Bluetooth. Cruise control, electric windows, power mirrors, roof rails, and those glossy black 18-inch alloy wheels. There’s a removable towbar and a chequered floor too. Everything’s fully insulated and carpeted, plus a power inverter and LED strip lighting for the dark nights.

It’s got a private plate on it now, but I’ll take it off and revert it back to the original YS15 LND. It’s been a real workhorse for me – I’ve used it for camping, fishing, moving gear around, and just about anything that needs a reliable, comfortable van. It drives great, doesn’t cough or shake, and feels solid. It’s not flashy, but it’s dependable.

It’s currently parked at Thornton, Buckinghamshire, and I’ve only just moved it there – it’s been in the same place for years, but now it’s in a more convenient spot. I’m not selling it to anyone fancy, just passing it on to someone who’ll actually use it properly.
