Got this old Mariner 4hp Sailmate 2-stroke long shaft outboard sitting in my garage in St-agnes, Cornwall, and just thought I’d share it. It’s been sitting unused for years — never actually started or run, just kept as a backup. Still in great shape, works perfectly straight out of the box, starts right up with no fuss. I’ve kept the manual with it, so if you’re curious or want to check it over, I’m happy to let you take a look. It’s been stored well, no rust, no wear. I’ve actually listened to it running — smooth, quiet, reliable. Price’s £472.50, but I’d say it’s just about right for what it is.
