2016 Toyota Auris VVT-I Business Edition Hatchback
Description
So, I’ve got this 2016 Toyota Auris Business Edition hatchback — it’s been in my family for a while now, and I’ve actually been using it for the past few years, mostly for commuting and weekend trips. It’s a manual, petrol, and honestly, it’s one of those cars that just feels solid — no flashy tech, but it’s got everything you need. The body’s a striking blue, and it’s not flashy, but it catches the light just right. The 1.2L engine is efficient — I’ve averaged around 59mpg on the road, and it’s been a real joy to drive without worrying about fuel costs. I’ve also noticed it’s really quiet on the road, especially at speed.
It’s got a sat-nav, which I’ve used every time I’ve gone on a long drive — no more getting lost on the A331 or winding up in the wrong town. And climate control? A big deal in the winter — I can keep the cabin at a comfortable temp whether it’s 5 or 10 degrees outside.
The alloy wheels look good, and the heated seats? A small luxury, but actually useful when it’s cold. I’ve used them a few times when I’ve been out early or late in the day.
I’ve had it through full service checks, so it’s been properly looked after. No major issues, just regular maintenance. The road tax is only £35 a year, and CO2 is 112g/km — not a huge footprint, especially for a hatchback.
I’ve kept it in the same place for years — now it’s at ash-vale, Station Approach. I’m not selling it for a massive amount — it’s just something I’ve had around for a while and thought it’d be better off with someone who actually uses a car like this.
If you’re interested, I can show it over the weekend — I’m usually around between 9am and 4pm, or happy to meet on a day that works for you. No pressure, just a straightforward, reliable hatchback that’s been used, not abused.
Let me know if you’d like to see it.
