Yamaha Reface DX FM Keyboard Synth - Digitone beater - BOXED & MINT
Description
So, I’ve been using this Reface DX for years now, and honestly, it’s one of those things that just keeps getting better with time. I’ve always thought the Reface line is underrated — like, way underappreciated — but after ten years of being made, it’s clear why. This one’s my backup unit, and it’s been tucked away in a Decksaver (I can add that to the order if you’re interested). My studio’s been clean — smoke-free, pet-free, cooking-free, dust-free — so it’s been safe and quiet the whole time. It’s got that warm, purring FM sound that doesn’t feel clinical — it’s alive, like it’s breathing. You can go from delicate, organically shaped pads to something that’ll make your ears hurt and your fingers fly, all in one go. The key part? It’s one of the smallest keyboards out there, but still packs a punch — great for playing or using as a MIDI controller. The built-in speakers are decent, muteable, and the audio in lets you plug in anything. There’s a looper, some cool on-board effects, saveable presets — you can build your own sounds and keep them forever.
It’s still in the box, untouched, with the power supply and MIDI cable. I’m not selling it because I need cash — I just don’t use it as much anymore. If you’re into synths that feel real, not like they’re just a digital imitation, this one’s a no-brainer. Comes from Blairgowrie, Blairgowrie and Rattray. Price’s £179.10 — I’ll keep it low because I’m not selling it for a quick buck, just passing it on to someone who’ll actually enjoy it.
