BMW 1 Series Hatchback 2009 Manual 1599cc 5-door
Description
Got this BMW 1 Series back in 2009 and have driven it every day since — black, solid body, no major dents or rust. It’s been well looked after, and I’ve just done a bit of work on it: new front brake pads and sensors, exhaust flex replaced, coil pack fitted. All that stuff was about £500 — I’ve been realistic about spending more, so it’s time to move on.MOT has 4 months left, starts and runs fine for its age. The only thing I’ve noticed is a couple of engine management lights — one amber, one red — but diagnostics showed it was just old, historical codes. The front brake sensor was the only one that actually needed fixing, and that’s now done.
I’ve kept the car in good shape, two keys, V5, no leaks. It’s been used daily, so it’s not a weekend project. If you’re someone who knows cars and might be able to dig into the issues, this could be a solid base. Otherwise, it’s a bit of a long-term project.
No time wasters — just questions if you’re serious. I’m not looking to fix it further, so it’s going to be sold as is.
