Got this floral cotton poplin from a local textile shop, and I’ve been using it for a few sewing projects lately. It’s 87cm wide and runs about 3.5 metres long — perfect for making little things like table runners, pillow cases, or even a patchwork quilt. The colours are soft blues and pinks, and it’s 100% cotton so it feels nice and doesn’t shrink. I’ve been washing it at 30 degrees and it holds up well. It’s from insch, Aberdeenshire, and I’m just letting it go because I’ve got a new project I’m working on.
