Bremshey Orbit Control cross trainer
Description
I’ve had this cross trainer for a few years now and it’s been a solid workout buddy, especially when the weather’s not on our side. It’s in good condition and runs smoothly — no major issues at all.The flywheel is 9kg, resistance goes up to 16 levels and it’s computer-controlled, which makes it easy to adjust as you go. The stride length is 16 inches, which feels comfortable for most people. The console has a backlit colour LCD screen and shows you all the programs — 18 different ones, plus heart rate tracking via hand grip sensors and a wireless receiver.
It’s a bit tall — 158cm high — so it’s not something you’d put in a small space, but it does take up a fair bit of room. Dimensions are 135cm x 62cm x 158cm, and it can handle up to 135kg, so it’s safe for a range of users. The unit itself weighs 55kg, which is pretty hefty but nothing you’d complain about.
I’m moving to southwell, Newark and Sherwood and don’t need it anymore, so I’m passing it on. It’s been used regularly and still works well — just needs a little cleaning and some maintenance, but nothing major.
If you’re into home workouts and don’t want to go outside much, this could be a solid fit. It’s not the fanciest thing, but it actually does the job well. Price is £90 — not a lot, honestly, considering it’s been in regular use.
