2016 Volvo V40 D4 R-Design Lux Nav Hatchback
Description
I’ve been keeping this car for a few years now, mostly just for the joy of driving it and the comfort it offers. It’s a 2016 D4 diesel, 2.0 litre, R-Design, with the luxury bits like the 7-inch colour screen, navigation, and that nice 17-inch Ixion matte black alloy wheel set. The interior is clean and well-maintained — lots of nice touches, like the charcoal headlining, chrome window trim, and proper storage in the armrests. It’s got a full range of safety tech: ABS, EBA, adaptive brake lights, stability control, and even pedestrian airbag tech. The seats are decent — driver’s seat has height and lumbar, front passenger has height adjustment too. I’ve used the cruise control, parking assist, and the driver’s info screen a lot. The sound system is solid with 8 speakers and Sensus Connect — not the most flashy, but it plays music well and keeps the cabin nice and quiet.
I’ve also got the DAB radio, CD player, and Bluetooth hands-free. The boot has floor mats and a spoiler, and the rear seats can fold down. I’ve kept it well-maintained, and it’s been driven fairly lightly — only a few thousand miles, mostly on the roads around Meltham, Kirklees.
I’m not selling it because I need the cash — just because I’m moving house and it’s time to upgrade. It’s a reliable, solid car with a lot of features that feel modern and practical. The price is £6,745.50 — fair for what it is, honestly.
If you’re looking for something that’s well-equipped, safe, and actually enjoyable to drive, this one might just fit your needs. Let me know if you’d like to chat — I’ll be honest about how it’s been used and what’s still working.
