So, I’ve got this 2018 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 2.1 CDI panel van – white with black interior – and it’s been sitting in Shepton Mallet, Somerset for a while now. I bought it new, and it’s only done 5,035 miles since then. No major damage, just a solid, quiet drive with all the basics covered.

It’s a diesel manual with 6-speed gearbox, Euro 6 engine, and has everything you’d expect from a proper work van – air conditioning, Bluetooth, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, cruise control, electric windows, and even a 7-inch MBUX screen. The seats are comfortable, the steering’s good, and there’s plenty of storage space – even a shelf above the windscreen and a hinged lid under the cockpit.

I’ve kept it well maintained, and it’s got features like ABS, ESP, hill start assist, and even eCall for emergency alerts. The tyres are 235-65 R16, and I’ve got the 16-inch steel wheels on it. The interior’s clean, the floor in the cargo area is wood, and the windows are heat-insulated with a filter.

The van’s been in a good state since new – no major issues, just a bit of wear from regular use. I’ve kept it simple and practical, so it’s perfect for delivery work, trades, or just running around with a load.
