I’ve been using this Mercedes Sprinter camper for a few years now, and honestly, it’s been a solid ride. I drove it back from Perth myself — over 7 hours straight — and didn’t miss a beat. It’s got a 1-year MOT and just 130k miles, and I’ve only ever driven it a few times, so it’s still in great shape.The layout is actually really handy — easy-to-make bottom bed that takes up in 30 seconds, plus a pull-down bed from the ceiling. I’ve got a cooker, a hob, a toilet, a shower, 240v hook-up, and a leisure battery. It’s got blow-air heating and both hot and cold water, so you can actually live in it comfortably off-grid.
I’ve kept it very low maintenance, and it’s been a real joy for weekend trips and long drives. It’s currently based in Cornhill-on-Tweed, Northumberland, and I’m happy to swap it for something else if you’re interested — just let me know.
It’s not flashy, but it’s reliable and has actually made some of my best travel memories.
