MALM Chest of 2 drawers, white, 40x55 cm

So I’ve got this MALM chest – the one from IKEA of Sweden – white, 40x55 cm, and it’s been in my bedroom for years. It’s not flashy, but it’s actually quite handy. The drawers slide smoothly and have a little stop, so they don’t just keep falling out. I’ve used it for folded trousers and t-shirts – about 5 pairs of pants or 10 shirts fits comfortably in one drawer.

It’s not super fancy, but it works well as a bedside table too, especially when I’m not in the mood for a full desk. The top and sides are particleboard with acrylic paint, and the back is fibreboard – nothing too high-end, but solid enough.

I live in Exmouth, East Devon now, so if you're around, I can just pop it over – I’m not far from the coast. I’ve kept it well, wiped it down with a damp cloth and mild cleaner when needed. No stains, no big scratches.

I’m just passing it on – it’s been in the same place for ages and I’ve found myself using it more than I thought. It’s not expensive, just £22.50, but I figured it’s better to share than just sit in the cupboard.
