These Monitor Audio Silver RX2 speakers are a real gem – I’ve had them for years and honestly, they’ve been one of my favourite audio setups. They’re not just loud or flashy, they deliver detail and clarity you don’t get from most bookshelf speakers. The 1-inch tweeter and 8-inch bass driver give a balanced sound with punchy bass and crisp highs. Each one weighs 10kg, so they’re solid and not flimsy. 6 ohm, 100w – plenty of power, but it’s well controlled, not overwhelming. I’ve actually used them in a home studio setup and they’ve held up really well. The only thing is, I’ve moved to swanscombe, Dartford and don’t have the space anymore. I’m keeping them for now, but they’re going to be a bit of a sad goodbye. £315 if you’re interested – just a personal decision to part with them.
