Doombastard FX Superfuzz Clone – Germanium/Silicone Diode Fuzz Pedal

Got this one from the Doombastard FX lineup back when they were still making pedals in Cardiff — they’ve since retired, so it’s a bit of a gem now. It’s a Superfuzz clone, same vibe as the classic Univox, but with a switch in the middle so you can pick between germanium or silicone diodes. I’ve always liked the silicon option because it gives a bit more punch and output.

The pedal has a little masking tape with an arrow — it’s a quirky detail, and honestly, it’s a bit of a thing with this model: the signal goes from left to right, not right to left, so the tape shows you how to wire it properly.
