I’m letting out a double room in a really nice, clean, and quiet house in duffield, Amber Valley. The place is well kept and feels like a real home — tidy, respectful, and calm. The landlord is a guy, and we’ve all got a good vibe, so it’s a solid, low-stress setup.

The room has a full double bed with a four-drawer storage underneath — super handy. There’s also a vanity desk and mirror, just like in the photo. If you’re renting with someone, I’d be happy to swap out any furniture you’ve got, so you can make it feel like your own.

I’ve got a storage unit I’d be happy to buy in for anyone who wants it — it’s right at the end of the room, so you can keep things neatly tucked away. If you already have your own bed, storage, or things like that, just let me know and we can sort it out.

The back garden is clean and great for summer afternoons — it’s actually a bit of a hidden gem. There’s off-street parking at the front, and soon it’ll be fenced off with a little seating area, so you can relax and enjoy the view.

It’s a lovely village setting — friendly, quiet, and full of charm. There are a few great pubs and a bistro within a quarter of a mile. Super easy access to Gateshead, Newcastle, Washington, and Sunderland. The X1 or 56 bus runs right down the street, and the N56 night bus is great if you’re going out late. You can check out the full route times on Go North East. Uber’s around £9 if you’re heading to Newcastle City Centre — not too bad for a night out.

Everything else is included: superfast fibre broadband, bills are covered, built-in cooker and microwave, and a brand new washing machine. There’s also a cellar with storage that’s easy to reach.

Smoking is allowed in the garden — either the front or back — just not inside the house.

Rent is £9 a week or mon to fri — I’m just being honest about that. The house is clean, the room is clean, and it’s a real place to live, whether you’re furnishing it or not.
