Got this old-kilpatrick, West Dunbartonshire, so if you're local and looking for a solid mountain bike that’s actually ready to ride, this one’s for you. It’s a Lapierre EDGE 529 with 29-inch wheels and straight bars, double alloy rims, and Maxxis tyres — not too heavy, feels light and balanced. The frame’s lightweight aluminium, with front edge suspension and a decent alloy seat post. Seat’s comfy, and the platform pedals are easy to work with. I’ve had it serviced, all the bits are working — brakes are Clark hydraulic discs, which are solid, and the shifter is Deore, good for shifting. Water bottle holder’s there too. It’s fully assembled and ready to go. I’ve kept it well cared for, so it’s been checked out and runs smoothly. Weighs about 230 pounds — not too heavy, not too light. Just a solid bike that’s been ridden and looked after. I’m not selling it to make a lot of money, just passing it on to someone who’ll actually use it.
