Audi A3 2010 1.6 TDI hatchback
Description
Got this 2010 Audi A3 1.6 TDI hatchback about 2.5 years ago and it’s been a solid daily driver since. It’s a 5-door, manual, 1598cc – not flashy, but actually quite reliable. I’ve done 75,400 miles on it, and it’s been well looked after. The timing belt and injectors were both done early on – a common thing with the 1.6 TDI, so I’m glad I sorted that before it became an issue.Last MOT was done in January 2026, and I’ve just had the rear brakes done (new discs and pads) to keep it in top shape. The interior is full leather, and the head unit has CarPlay and Xtrons – no fancy gadgets, just clean, easy-to-use.
I polished the car and had the alloys refurbished about four months ago, so it looks like new inside and out. It’s been driven a fair bit, but not recklessly – mostly city and country routes. Road tax is only £20 a year, and it’s cheap to insure.
I’m moving to Tregaron, Ceredigion, and this is my first time showing it to someone. I’ve got the private plates, but I’ll take them off once I get the new V5. If you’re thinking of getting a reliable, low-mileage hatchback that’s not flashy but actually works well, this might be something you’d like. First one to see it, I’ll buy it.
