2023 Toyota AYGO 1.0 Petrol Hatchback
Description
So, I’ve been driving this little Toyota AYGO for a few months now, and honestly, it’s been a real joy — especially as a first car. It’s got a clean service history, only had one previous owner, and I’ve kept it well looked after. It’s a 5-door hatchback with the automatic gearbox, which I love — no fiddling with gears, just smooth shifts. The interior’s clean and tidy, with that nice leather steering wheel and a 7-inch touchscreen that works well with Apple Car Play and Android Auto. I’ve got a full DAB radio, Bluetooth, USB, and even voice control — it’s actually pretty smart for a small car.
The safety bits are solid: ABS, EBS, traction control, lane departure warning, and a pre-collision system. There’s also a reversing camera, which I’ve used a lot since parking at the local garage. I’ve got two keys, and the car’s been well maintained — my first MOT isn’t due until 2026, so it’s been ticking along nicely.
I’m based in Peterlee, County Durham, and it’s a pretty straightforward drive from there. I’ve kept it like new — no major damage, just regular maintenance. The 17-inch alloy wheels are 5-spoke, and the seats are comfortable, with driver’s height adjustment and a fold-down rear seat.
I’ve also got a full set of features: air conditioning, power mirrors, power windows, child locks, ISOFIX seats, and even a pollen filter. The boot has storage pockets, and there’s a 12V outlet in the front.
It’s a great car if you’re new to driving or just want something practical, low running costs, and cheap insurance. I’m not selling it for a big price — it’s actually around £12,055.50 — but I’ve got a few extras in place: a 15-month warranty and breakdown cover included, plus free local delivery.
Driveaway insurance is subject to age, but I can help you sort that out.
If you’re looking for a reliable, safe, and easy-to-drive car without the hassle, this one might just be what you need. I’m happy to chat if you’re interested — no pressure, just real talk.
