Description

Got this old French enamel sign from a workshop in Troyes, Champagne — one of a few I picked up from a video grange back in the day. It’s a 1973 Jean Neuhaus Vitracier vitreous enamel sign, marked on the back with 7 1 - 170 1973 VITRACIER JEAN NEUHAUS S.A. — the kind of thing you’d see in classic car shops, originally used as a wall piece, then later as a café table top.

It’s a thick, heavy steel sign, not aluminium, and it’s got some wear — chips, a bit of rust on the front and back, a few spots of touch-up paint inside. The edges are solid, no holes or through damage. It’s not pristine, but still bright and makes a decent decorative piece. I cleaned it up quite a bit when I got it, and it’s now looking much better.

The shape is triangular, about 90cm on each side, 80cm tall, and 3.5cm thick at the edge — weighs in at around 5.8kg. The wine bottle in the photos is just for scale, not included.

I’m posting it for £81, and I can arrange delivery if you pay by bank transfer — no PayPal, no card, no courier. Only cash on collection or bank transfer. If you’re local and want to pick it up in Lurgan, Armagh City, just let me know.

Photos show it best — definitely check them before you decide. It’s a real piece of French automobilia, and I’ve kept it mostly as-is since I found it. Have a look at some of my other vintage finds if you’re interested.
